STABILIZATION OF HUMAN PLATELETS ON THE ADHESIVE SUBSTRATE WITH USE OF TICAGRELOR

Introduction. Producing of combined biotransplants with human platelets may be accompanied by high rate of the loss of biological active platelet components. It is suggested to use blockers of platelet activity to fix these cells on adhesive substrate surface. The aim of the study. To assess the ability of human platelet stabilization on the glass and collagen with the use of antiagregant ticagrelor. Methods. Platelet study was performed with morphofunctional platelet rate evaluation, based on vital stained cells analysis with fluorescent microscopy. Results. Presence of ticagrelor in plasma led to the platelet stabilization (anchoring) on substrate cover, saving platelet granules inside cytoplasm, while in samples without ticagrelor the adhesion of platelets was followed by the total degranulation and activation of cells. Conclusion. Ticagrelor is useful for biologically high-grade platelets stabilization on adhesive substrates.
