GENETIC ASPECTS OF ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION IN CHILDREN
The article presents results of a comparison of clinical, genealogical and molecular genetic data of the study of the role of gene
polymorphisms of renin - angiotensin system (REN (G83A), AGT (M235T), AGTR1 (A1166C)) in children with hypertension, with taking
into account the results of ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. This study is representing a considerable contribution of genetic factors in
the development and progression of hypertension in children. The obtained results can be used to develop primary prevention of hypertension
in children.
