RECEPTOR GENE EXPRESSION OF ESTRADIOL AND PROGESTERONE IN ENDOMETRIAL POLYP'S TISSUE OF PRE- AND POSTMENOPAUSAL PATIENTS

Introduction, the aim of the study. An increase of anti-relapse endometrial polyp's therapy efficiency force us to explore estradiol (mER, ERα, ERβ) and progesterone (PR-A, PR-B, PGRmC1 and mPR) gene expression level in different histological types of polyp's endometrium samples collected from pre- and postmenopausal patients. Methods: standard clinicaldiagnostic methods, the method of polymerasechain reactionin real time. Results. Patients in premenopausal period have a higher level of PR-A, PR-B, PGRmC1 and mPR receptor gene expression in glandular polyps then in glandular-fibrous polyps. Postmenopausal patients have a higher level of PR-A expression in glandular polyps and a higher ERβ-expression level in adenomatous polyps, then in a glandular-fibrous polyps. Conclusion. The level and composition of polyp's endometrium gene expression depends as on it's histological type, as on availability and duration of menopause.
