Association of adrenergic receptors gene polymorphisms in overweight persons has been shown by Gagnon J. et al. in 1996. For the locus Trp64Arg (rs4994) β3-adrenoceptor gene was shown to be associated with the risk of obesity, confirmed by the works of a number of researchers in Sweden, Russia and Hungary. The aim was to investigate the association of ADRA2A rs1800544, ADRA2A rs553668, ADRB3 rs4994 polymorphismswith obesity in a population of Tatars women living in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Material and methods. A total of 450 women with obesity (BMI>30 kg/m2) and 299 controls women (BMI35,0 kg/m2). Results. There was found the association between rs4994 (c.190T>C, Trp64Arg) ADRB3and development of the obesity in allele test OR 2,05, (95% CI 1,48–2,85, р
