The study of estrogen and progesterone receptors expression remains to be the one of the major challenges in contemporary gynecology due to the high frequency of the occurrence of infertility, miscarriage and ineffective IVF cycles, hyperplasia and endometrial cancer transformation. The introduction of confocal laser scanning microscopy and immunohistochemical studies of endometrial biopsy specimens allows to perform a detailed qualitative and quantitative assessment of the receptor profile in the different structures of endometrium. The aim of the study. The studyof the expression estrogenandprogesteronereceptorsduringthenormalmenstrualcycle. Methods. The investigation of the expression of estrogen and progesterone receptors was executed with the use of the method of confocal laser immunofluorescenсe microscopy. Results. The expression of estrogen and progesterone receptors during the normal menstrual cycle has both the dynamic character and the strict dependence on the phase of the menstrual cycle. Conclusion. The obtained data reveal new perspectives in understanding of the expression of steroid hormone receptors in different structures of the endometrium during the normal menstrual cycle.
