Обзор литературы посвящен рассмотрению структуры, особенностей функционирования, регуляции трансляции и посттрансляционных изменений индуцируемого гипоксией фактора-1 (HIF-1). Кроме того, уделено внимание роли HIF-1 в развитии гипоксически-ишемического поражения тканей. Отмечены принципы использования HIF-1 в качестве мишени для фармакологической регуляции, которая может стать основой для новых направлений терапии заболеваний, ассоциированных с нарушениями энергетического метаболизма.
